I don't think a more apt name for race exists. That was a tough day in the office, whilst not the hardest course we've had, today certainly lived up to its name, it certainly was a challenge event, to get one lap done today was a massive achievement, so to see so many of you also go on and complete more and more and more was even more incredible.
With quite a few of you completing your firsts too, from first ever running events, first 10ks, first Half Marathons even first Marathons, and we also had a 200th Marathon completed today too.
Congratulations to Davie for reaching the milestone.
Also congratulations to our lovely marshal Abi who reached her 12 half marathons in 12 months milestone (albeit she has actually completed it a lot sooner)
We cannot guarantee as much mud and mess at all of our events and as the weather continues to improve we expect that some of you may have to bring some mud with you for future races.
