Wow, what a day today, It was amazing to see so many Fancily Dressed runners, from Spiderman and Woman, Superman and Super Girl, Wally, a doner kebab, The 118 runners, a bear, Harry Potter and Hermione Granger, Teenwolf a Rhino and so many more amazing outfits, thank you all for coming and I can assure you we are lining up next year's date and intend on this being an annual affair.
As for the course today, we were expecting the course to be a muddy one due to the weather we have been having but it turned out to be quite sturdy underfoot for the majority of the course, which we were more than happy with.
The results are attached below alongside the new course records. We had some first time achievements from first 10k, first Half marathon, first heavy half, first Marathon and even first Ultra, not just an ultra but 10 laps, (53k)
It gives us so much pleasure to be a part of the running journey that you all take as you move through the different stages of running, whether its the first or your 100th or even your 1000th event, we are so proud to be a part of it, so thank you all for coming and making today really special, we hope that you enjoyed it as much as we did and look forward to seeing you all again at future events.
