Exhausted, tired, broken, amazed, and that's how I'm feeling this morning. I'm not sure how you guys must feel, I would imagine quite emotional too, as you all were absolutely amazing yesterday with so many of you completing your first track event as well.
The weather couldn't have been better, the course was well signposted and had a toilet every 400m, the conditions couldn't have been better, with all of you bringing your A Game, the day went off with a Bang...
With distances ranging from 5k up to the furthest distance run of 268 laps which equals 107.2k it was tremendous to witness all of you smashing down the walls of your personal targets.
I'd like to thank our great team of marshals who made the day go swiftly keeping everyone motivated, refreshed and smiling on what was a day of reoccurring circles.
It was great to see so many new faces too, welcome to the Zig Zag Running Family, we look forward to seeing you again soon, we also had some faces we haven't seen for a while too, which was just as nice to see you guys back on the circuit (excuse the pun)
For those of you that loved the track, we do another event at the track called Circuit Du Sore Legs, which you will find in our events calendar - attached, along with all of our events for the upcoming year.
Pictures & Memories
Don't forget to go to our Facebook group, you will find lots of pictures from the day, they all get uploaded by the marshals and you can tag yourself and share your moments too.
The results are attached below,
We will be opening next years dates soon, we are just waiting to find out when the fireworks will be on so we can set the date.
What's next: The Remembrance Run at Ferry Meadows on the 10th November.
What's New - The Zig Zag Big Bobble Hat, the only one with fleece lining and reflective
Thank you for coming and enjoying your day with us.
Until the next run
Stephen & Zoe
Another fantastic Zig Zag event. Thanks so much to Stephen and Zoe and everyone else involved. Thanks to the friends old and new who encouraged and ran with me - I really appreciate your support. The free late night pizza was a real treat which helped me a lot over the last 20km!
