The Red Rum Run - 11th March 2023

Updated: May 17, 2023

I'm always trying to not squint in the Pre race selfie's, but today the sun was well and truly in my eyes...

What a great day we had with all of you. We thought it was going to be freezing cold and it was, well to start with at least, then it turned into quite a beautiful day which was a stark contrast to the rest of this week. We obviously were very lucky with the weather today, which also meant that you got all sorts of differing terrain to enjoy as the day evolved.

It was great to witness some amazing firsts again today, with first 10k's First Half Marathons, even first heavy half's in preparation for the next longer run. We also got to witness the wonderful Gavin Hall complete his 100th Marathon today and become the newest member of the 100 Marathon Club.

Horseheath is one of the toughest of our venues, this one is particularly challenging as it has plenty of elevation, but also one of the nicest due to being an out and back which allows you all to encourage each other. Whilst writing we would like to thank our wonderful marshals for their help guiding you around the course and plying you with coffee and cake at the finish line, lots of photos were taken by them and they will be uploaded to our Facebook group which you'll be able to download and use.

Below you'll find todays results and also any changes to the Course records.
