What a beautiful day, The sun was shining, The ground was frosty, The birds were chirping, the sky was a piercing shade of azure blue, The smell of runners wafted over the skies of horseheath as you all lined up for a great day of running
The lovely frosty ground melted away to leave a rather softer ground underfoot after a few hours, making the event name so much more apt as a challenge unfolded
We were so pleased to see so many people achieve amazing things, The question we always ask at the start of a race is how many of you are coming to run with us at Zig Zag running for the first time. It’s great to see so many hands raising and we hope that we get to see you all again, you are all now officially part of the Zig Zag Running Family
Our favourite thing about our ever growing family is how much you all enjoy each other’s company, commenting on how friendly everyone is, we love the fact that you enjoy it as much as we do
Today we also saw some new course records, we also had so many of you reaching new levels, first events, first half marathons, first full marathons, even first ultras. You continue to inspire us
