148 runners | Hyde Hall Farm | Two days of pure chaos and glory

What a weekend at Hyde Hall. 148 runners turned out for everything from a 5k right through to 35 LAPS — 114.6 miles of farmland glory.

The headline distances:

5k — 8 | 10k — 20 | 15k — 7

Half — 28 | Heavy Half — 4

Full Marathon — 36 | Ultra — 12

6 to 21 Laps — 22 finishers across the long distances

DOUBLE-DIPPERS — Four runners did MULTIPLE events this weekend:

• Jay MacDonald — 2 Full Marathons in one day

• Naomi Hallam — 2 Full Marathons in one day

• Paul Andrew Blackwell — Full Marathon on both days

• Catherine Marriott — 10k Sunday, 6 Laps (~31k) Saturday

100 MILES — FIVE FINISHERS: - Take a bow!

James Bennett — 19:19:36 (CR!)

Charlie Lodge — 21:44:52

Daniel Wright — 25:30:18

Adrian Noble — 28:51:46

Richard Goulding — 31:24:54

Beyond 100 miles — Alex Marshall completed THIRTY-FIVE LAPS — 114.63 miles — in 24:01:25. That's a brand new Course Record at a distance most runners never even contemplate.

PAUL FORSHAW'S 100TH EVENT:

Paul completed 7 Laps (22.9 miles / 36.9km) — the furthest he's ever run in a single event. Started 17 October 2020 at The Lucky Horseshoe. Five years, seven months later — 100 Zig Zag events under the belt. Take a bow, Paul.

Twelve Course records across the event:

Emily Cross (5k) · Marshall Drew (10k) · Graham Law (Heavy Half) Victoria Connelly (Ultra)

Theresa Massey (11 Laps) · Alexander Reets (13 Laps) · Andrew Goodson (14 Laps)

Max Scobie (16 Laps) · Slawomir Siwiec (18 Laps) · Bradley Tuttle (21 Laps)

James Bennett (100 Miles) · Alex Marshall (35 Laps)

Cumulative distance covered: 5,859 km / 3,641 miles

That's the equivalent of:

• Land's End to John o' Groats FOUR times

• London to Glasgow nearly 9 times over

• London to Paris twelve times

What a weekend. What a community. What a milestone for Paul.

Everyone gets a medal (or 100 Mile Buckle). Everyone's a winner. Below you will find the link from this weekends results, the updated course records and our future events diary. Until the next run Stephen & Zoe
