217 finishers | Suffolk Running Centre | A milestone in the sunshine
What a way to mark 200 events. The sun came out, the Owls route looked its absolute best, and 217 runners turned up to be part of Zig Zag history.
The numbers:
5k — 19 | 10k — 74 | Half — 80
Full Marathon — 39 | Ultra+5k — 4 | Ultra+1 Lap — 1
FIVE course records on our milestone day: Tony Roberts — 5k (21:06) Catriona Ward Sell — 5k (23:52) Agustin Rioseco Diaz — Half Marathon (1:07:12) Amy Ross — Half Marathon (1:07:38) Murray Burt — Ultra + 1 Full Lap (5:33:30)
Cumulative distance covered: 4,411 km / 2,741 miles
That's the equivalent of:
• Land's End to John o' Groats THREE times over
• London to Paris nearly ten times
• London to Edinburgh and back, three and a half times
And the weather gods smiled on us — glorious sunshine for the big one. After 200 events you'd think we'd have run out of luck with the British weather, but not today.
200 events. Six Years. Tens of thousands of runners. Every one of them part of the story. From the very first Lucky Horseshoe to this sun-soaked 200th — thank you to everyone who's ever laced up, marshalled, cheered, or eaten our cake.
Here's to the next 200.
Everyone gets a medal. Everyone's a winner. Below you will find the results from today, updated course records and future events diary. Until the next run Stephen & Zoe

Geometry Dash Lite was the result of this continuous effort. Players leap over uncertainty knowing that one careless step may send them plummeting into the abyss below, much like cars navigating storm-torn highways.
