Good evening to you!
Thank you all for coming along to FEAR (Forget Everything And Run) Event. It was a tad warmer than we all expected.
It was great to meet so many of you for the first time and it was also so nice to see so many familiar faces. Welcome all of you to the Zig Zag Family! Today we celebrated Adam Williams 100th lifetime marathon, and this milestone was also reached on his birthday, so shouting out Happy Birthday to Adam too!
Today's Route: 5.3k loops of the beautiful Brandon Country Park.
Marshals and Support: Once again we would like to extend our gratitude to all the brilliant marshals who ensured a smooth and fun experience for everyone. Their commitment to making this event enjoyable for all participants is remarkable. If you would like to join in and volunteer at future events, earn a race credit for yourself or potentially even run the same day, then please get in contact via email events@zigzagrunning.co.uk and we will send out some more details. We cannot run these events without this support.
Pictures and Memories: Remember to check out the amazing pictures captured during today's run! They will be uploaded to our Zig Zag running group on Facebook. Feel free to tag yourself and your friends to share the moments.
What's Next? – We are back to Bawsey Country Park next Saturday for Easier Said Than Run. We still have spaces if you wish to join us.
Next Years Event - We will be hosting next years FEAR event at High Lodge which is a very short distance from Brandon Country Park. This will be held on Sunday 6th September. Entries will be open soon.
Upcoming Events: All the medals are now ordered until the end of the year meaning the event number spaces are locked in. Some of the next few events either sold out or getting close so don’t leave it too long if you have your eye on a specific piece of bling for your collection.
Attached you'll find the results from today and events diary.
Until the next run
Best wishes
Stephen and Zoe
