Thank you all for coming along to Great Barrow Challenge Day 7
This is Day 7 for many of you - well done! Welcome to those who are keeping those company today but also conquering amazing things.
Welcome all of you to the Zig Zag Family! Happy birthday today to Andy who ran his 864th marathon at the sprightly age of 81! And Happy birthday to Brandon doing his 1st marathon today and came in first in this distance category.
Congratulations also to Nomi who ran her 100th Zig Zag event today.
Today's event Route: Chevington Half and Golding Hills depending on what distance you were completing.
Marshals and Support: Once again we would like to extend our gratitude to all the brilliant marshals who ensured a smooth and fun experience for everyone. Their commitment to making this event enjoyable for all participants is remarkable. If you would like to join in and volunteer at future events, earn a race credit for yourself or potentially even run the same day, then please get in contact via email events@zigzagrunning.co.uk and we will send out some more details. We cannot run these events without this support.

What's Next – We are back at Suffolk Running Centre for the next 3 days. We have a number of you already joining us for a number of these days - we look forward to seeing you. For those not already joining us, we have spaces available should you wish to join in. We have also launched next years series. Thursday 23rd July - Saturday 1st August 2026.
Upcoming Events: All the medals are now ordered until the end of October meaning the event number spaces are locked in. Some of the next few events either sold out or getting close so don’t leave it too long if you have your eye on a specific piece of bling for your collection.
