It was great to meet so many of you for the first time and it was also so nice to see so many familiar faces - we welcome all of you to the Zig Zag Family!
Hinchingbrooke Country park is renowned for being muddy at the best of time, today wasn't any different, as we'd expect for a trail event in February, we had Mud, Puddles, Slippery Sections all around the park.
Today's event Route: Hinchingbrooke Country Park – 5.3k loop of the Beautiful Country Park.
Marshals and Support: Once again we would like to extend our gratitude to all the brilliant marshals who ensured a smooth and fun experience for everyone. Their commitment to making this event enjoyable for all participants is remarkable.
Pictures and Memories: Remember to check out the amazing pictures captured during today's run! They will be uploaded to our Zig Zag running group on Facebook. Feel free to tag yourself and your friends to share the moments. The pictures taken by our Roaming photographer Kevin Richards will be edited and uploaded some time next week
Wilde & Greene, A big thank you to Sue for keeping all of the spectators fed and watered throughout the day too..
What's Next – we return for our First visit of the year to Ferry Meadows Country Park and the event is Run for Cake! on 9nd Feb, whilst the event medal option is sold out, we do have some lucky dip spaces left
All medals are now ordered until end of February with some of the next few events either sold out or getting close so don’t leave it too long if you have your eye on a specific piece of bling for your collection.
That said, we attach the race diary for the whole of 2025 so you can start planning your adventure's
We are also hosting the Great Barrow Challenge (10 Events in 10 Days) for the third year. Another great opportunity to push your boundaries and see what you can achieve.
Attached you'll find the results from today and the events diary.
Until the next run
Best wishes
Stephen and Zoe
