Good Morning everyone, I hope you've all woken up feeling Fresh and ready to go...

May I start by thanking you all for coming along and making the day so much fun, despite the inclement weather it was a great day.

Exhausted, tired, broken, amazed, and that's how I'm feeling this morning. I'm not sure how you guys must feel, I would imagine quite emotional too, as you all were absolutely amazing yesterday with so many of you completing your first track event as well.

I'm sure you will agree that the course was well signposted and had a toilet every 400m, the DJ was a bit out of sync sometimes but the conditions couldn't have been better, with all of you bringing your A Game, the day went off with a Bang...

With distances ranging from 5k up to the furthest distance run of 281 laps which equals 112.4km

it was tremendous to witness all of you smashing down the walls of your personal targets.

I'd like to thank our great team of marshals who made the day go swiftly keeping everyone motivated, refreshed and smiling on what was a day of reoccurring circles.

It was great to see so many new faces too, welcome to the Zig Zag Running Family, we look forward to seeing you again soon, we also had some faces we haven't seen for a while too, which was just as nice to see you guys back on the circuit (excuse the pun)

Also what an amazing achievement by the lovely Kate Knight for completing her 200th Marathon yesterday, taking on the track which had become her nemesis over the last few attempts

For those of you that loved the track, we do another event at the track called Circuit Du Sore Legs, which you will find in our events calendar 31st May 2026 - attached, along with all of our events for the upcoming year.

Up & Running Cambridge

Some of you would have noticed that Up & Running Cambridge were at the event this year.

They have kindly extended a discount to our runners from yesterday so if your like to enjoy 15% off full-priced items (excluding electronics) at Up & Running Cambridge for two weeks after your race you just show your race entry confirmation in store to claim the discount. (Offer applies instore only).

Pictures & Memories

Don't forget to go to our Facebook group, you will find lots of pictures from the day, they all get uploaded by the marshals and you can tag yourself and share your moments too.

The results are attached below,

We will be opening next years dates as soon as we know dates, we are just waiting to find out when the fireworks will be on so we can set the date.

What's next: The Remembrance Run at Ferry Meadows on the 1st November. We are sold out of the Event medal but you can still join us via Lucky Dip. All medals are now ordered until the end of March 2026 so if you have your eye on a specific piece of bling, do not leave it too late.

And don't forget, if you enter via the Zig Zag website and place 3 or more entries in your basket at once, you will also start receiving discounts on your races. 3 for yourself or 3 friends together. Until the next run Stephen & Zoe
