This event marked Zig Zag Runnings first outing at a new venue. So many fantastic memories were made from what was our first of many events to be held at Hinchingbrooke Country Park.
We had a few firsts at this event, a young man completing their first ever marathon (and he kept it a secret until the finish line) - absolutely amazing achievement. We had someone complete their first half marathon, this same someone also shared this as their first ever running event. We had a young lady complete her 99th marathon with us. Whatever the goals, there were many great achievers out there.
There were brilliant marshals who really made the day the best it could possibly be, from helping people around the course, cheering them on, keeping the runners motivated, hydrated and happy.
So as in the theme of this event; "Running Is Our Therapy" - R.I.O.T
