Today was about honouring Zig's brother and his atrocious choice of shirts, hence the Shocking Shirt Shuffle. Many runners and marshals joined in the fun on this super duper hot day by donning their worst shirts, and my there were some... however, as the day went on, the shirts no longer seemed that terrible. Perhaps we are re-introducing a new fashion craze.
All the participants did phenomenally in the heat. We even had 2 gents completing their first ever official Marathon!!! - absolutely superb. Even despite the heat, we had 2 course records beaten.
