What a beautiful bunch of Wallies we had on Sunday, you brightened up what could have been a bleak Sunday morning with your amazing outfits and the smiles that you all produced from everyone who took part
The weather held out with a slight drizzle for a bit then it was perfect conditions for running, not too hot, not too cold, a bit of breeze and lots of wallies in front and behind you.
We had some firsts too, which we always love to see, we had two people completing their first ever Ultra and one of them was their first distance over a marathon too, someone also finished their first ever half marathon with us too.
We had two birthdays, both ladies just turning 21 as well, well 21 and a little bit.
Some the course records were beaten too, all in all we had a great day, the marshals were also fantastic, taking part in a race afterwards and one of them taking a course record too.
We will be repeating this event, despite the numbers being low this time, we feel that the energy given this time by all of you, it will grow in to a bit of a cult following, what better way to spend your sunday and prove your a wally by dressing up and running around a bit.
