A focused day at SRC — runners locked in for either the Half or the Full Marathon, no half measures.
The numbers:
Half Marathon — 106
Full Marathon — 40
Two course records smashed — and both on the Half:
James McCann — Half Marathon (1:18:18)
Josephine Winter — Half Marathon (1:31:09)
Cumulative distance covered: 3,924 km / 2,438 miles
That's the equivalent of running:
• Land's End to John o' Groats nearly THREE times over
• London to Paris and back, more than four times
• London to Edinburgh six times
